A BURST OF PURE ENERGY AND EXCITEMENT, HoneyLuv is redefining the EDM scene with explosive tracks you can’t help but dance to.

Cleveland-born and now LA-based, HoneyLuv has emerged with a force in 2022, including being labeled as one of Billboard's Dance Artists To Watch for the year. Her recent release “365 (Thr33 6ix 5ive)” showcases just how vibrant and lush the Luv world of EDM is, and her latest showcase of remixing Melle Brown and Annie Mac’s “Feel About You” has claimed attention across genres for her innovative mixing.

HoneyLuv has been around the festival block lately with stops at major events like Electric Forest, HARD Summer, and Outside Lands on her 365 (Thr33 6ix 5ive) Tour, where she has received immense support and connection as an act, no matter the time of day for her set. Our latest guest for our From The Road series, we sent a Lomography camera out to HoneyLuv to get a chance to take a peak at life on the road.

2022 has been a year of growth and experimentation for HoneyLuv, and we caught up with her on the road to chat about her recent releases, the energy of festival shows, and the growth she has seen within herself as an artist thus far.

LUNA: What do you like about playing festivals versus venue shows?

HONEYLUV: I'm a huge venue fan but festivals are always super entertaining. Especially when there is a theme. I love how festivals go all out with the art, the stages, the lights. The overall production is like an attraction at Disney World. So it’s really dope to see how each festival brings their vision to life.

LUNA: Share a highlight from your set at HARD Summer.

HONEYLUV: My highlight from HARD was seeing everyone come and pack out the stage at such an early set time. It really made my heart smile to see all that support because that doesn't always happen.

LUNA: Which track has become your favorite to play live?

HONEYLUV: My favorite track to play out live has definitely been 365. People go crazy when they hear it coming on and having everyone sing along too is priceless.

LUNA: Do you have any pre-show rituals? How to prep for a set?

HONEYLUV: I actually don’t but I always find myself just chilling out and listening to some R&B music beforehand.

LUNA: How have you seen your live set evolve the past year?

HONEYLUV: I have for sure seen my live shows evolve. I have become more comfortable with playing what I want. I had always second guessed myself but every show I’m taking more and more risk and it’s truly been rewarding to see the acceptance of the sound I’m playing now, than I was earlier this year.

LUNA: What intentions do you have for the rest of the year?

HONEYLUV: My intentions for the rest of the year is to just keep doing what I’m doing and that’s being myself and getting the music ready for this new path I am about to embark on. Be ready for some underground Luv.
