EXCISION RETURNED TO THE BILL GRAHAM CIVIS AUDITORIUM for night two of his back-to-back performances, delivering exactly what he’s built his reputation on: a full-scale spectacle. If you’ve ever seen an Excision show, you already know—it’s not just about the music, it’s about the sheer force of the production. Massive visuals, relentless lasers, bursts of fire—it’s sensory overload in the best way possible.

Having previously seen him at Thunderdome, I already knew what kind of energy he brings, but being able to cover the show locally added a whole new perspective. From behind the lens and in the middle of the crowd, the intensity was constant. The bass hit hard, the pacing never dipped, and the crowd stayed fully locked in from start to finish.

There’s a reason Excision has become synonymous with high-level production in the EDM space, and he’s set a standard that very few can match. Every drop felt bigger than the last, every visual timed to perfection. It’s the kind of show that doesn’t give you much room to breathe, and that’s exactly the point. Whether you’re there to headbang, capture the moment, or just take it all in, Excision delivers an experience that feels as massive as it looks.
