YOUR LOVE’S A FEVER (need to figure out rest of lead) — UK multi-instrumentalist and producer Luke Champion returns with “Your Love’s A Fever,” an addicting collaboration with artist Ella Eliza, that dives into the addictive highs and lows of love. Following the success of “PRETEND”, which has over 1 million streams and was featured on ITV’s Love Island, this song shows Champion’s talent and ability to create unique sounds that blur the line between electronic/alt-pop with soulful sound.

The second the track starts, the song draws you in and opens with pulsing rhythms and layers of synth. Put your headphones on and close your eyes – It’s like being at a concert with lasers and lights flashing in rhythm to the music. When Ella Eliza’s vocals enter the layered production, it only gets better. Her ethereal voice delivers how love can consume more than it comforts, showing how love can be addictive and dangerous.

Champion’s production is addictive. Every beat, vocal, and synth feels perfectly placed. The pairing of Ella’s voice with his sound design creates a heartbeat-like rhythm that is hypnotic and immersive. If “PRETEND” was Champion’s anthem of heartbreak, “Your Love’s A Fever” takes it a step further, exploring the obsession that comes with love. The song's dark and moody vibe is so captivating.

If you are a fan of Lorde, Banks, or Flume, check out “Your Love’s A Fever”. You never know, it might just be the track that ends up on your top playlist when your wrapped playlist comes around!
