SALUTE’S FRIDAY NIGHT SET IN AUSTIN WAS THE PLACE TO BE. The three-hour set was nothing short of electrifying, delivering a sold-out show that left the crowd dancing for the entire three-hour duration. The anticipation was palpable, and salute did not disappoint, showcasing the evolution of their artistry and their ability to command a room.

Salute, an Austrian producer and DJ, has been making waves in the electronic music scene with their unique blend of UK garage, house, and techno influences. Since emerging onto the scene, he's garnered attention for their intricate productions and energetic live performances. Their discography includes his 2024 release TRUE MAGIC and singles like “Joy”, and “Peach” demonstrating a consistent ability to craft tracks that are both dancefloor-ready and rich in sonic detail. This background in production and their growing body of work have undoubtedly contributed to his ability to curate such a compelling and dynamic live experience.

It was particularly special to witness how salute crafted a set that, while rooted in a club atmosphere, seamlessly incorporated his own distinctive tracks. They masterfully balanced the energy, weaving together both new and old favorites, and even treated the audience to an unreleased track with frequent collaborator Sammy Virji. The set served as a testament to salute's growth as an artist, a transformation that has become increasingly apparent in recent years. Having caught salute's performances at Portola in 2023 and Coachella in both 2024 and 2025, the contrast was striking. The Kingdom set offered a unique experience, distinct from the festival settings, highlighting their versatility and depth as a performer.

Salute's ability to hold the crowd's attention for such an extended period was impressive; the three hours flew by in a whirlwind of energy and expertly curated selections. The night solidified salute's position as a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene, leaving the Austin crowd eagerly anticipating their next move.
