WITH FALL JUST AROUND THE CORNER—it is only fitting that strongboi is beginning to roll out their new album. Strongboi is the duo composed of “Witches” singer Alice Phoebe Lou and the talented Ziv Yamin. A taste of funk with groovy bass, retro synths, and electric guitar compliment Lou’s iconic soft vocals on their new track “dizzy.”

“dizzy” is a warm 70s-flashback song we’ve been needing. strongboi’s writing on this single looks both forward and back, reminiscing on shamelessly falling for someone, while reflecting on individual growth. This is the second single released from the album, following “think twice.” Undeniably, it gives yet another promising look into a project set to make its way into my fall favorites playlist.

Following these two singles, I’m on the edge of my seat for what the rest of the album has to offer. They are about to embark on tour in Europe, and by early spring of 2027, will travel over to the United States. I’ve already bookmarked to attend their concluding show at Lodge Room in LA.
