Deep in the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Live 2025 took over the spotlight for a winter celebration of music, culture, and community. The festival’s diverse lineup highlighted a wave of women DJs who are pushing boundaries and redefining what dance music looks and sounds like today. Across bass-heavy drops and high-energy grooves, these five female artists brought a presence that carried through the entire weekend. Jessica Audiffred brought an undeniable intensity to the festival. Known for her ferocious bass and unapologetic presence, Audiffred commanded the crowd with true precision and grit. Her set filled the crowd with an undeniable energy, serving as a reminder of why she’s become one of bass music’s most respected global forces.
Alison Wonderland cooked up a performance swirled with the emotional and cinematic. She has a natural knack for blending melodic moments with hard-hitting drops to create an immersive
experience. This set was no different as she showed both her vulnerability and raw power on the decks.
Rising star 2DY4 injected Tahoe Live with a fresh, forward-thinking energy. Her delivery on stage was playful, bouncy, and confidently experimental. For anyone who may not have previously been familiar with her sound, her set was proof that she has the talent, aura, and authenticity to be up on that stage. Sippy brought pure bass chaos to the mountains. Her set was heavy, high-energy, and crowd-pleasing, with every drop landing harder than the last. Sippy’s presence behind the decks was magnetic, reminding everyone that fun and ferocity can exist in the same space.
Also a memorable performer, Zen Selekta delivered a groovy set that felt both intentional and infectious. Her ability to blend global sounds with bass music created a vibe that was impossible not to move to. It felt grounded in rhythm and connection. Together, these women didn’t just represent Tahoe Live, they helped define it. Their performances showcased the depth, diversity, and power of women in electronic music, making Tahoe Live 2025 a weekend that felt as inspiring as it was unforgettable. Across genres and styles, these sets reflected the many ways women are shaping dance music today.
