THE NINE MEMBERS OF TWICE ARE FEMALE POWERHOUSES—Despite Dahyun's absence for health reasons, the group sold out two nights at Capital One Arena. From the cup sleeve events, pre-parties, and the random dance event, ONCEs had a blast, ending the night with an incredible performance. February 13 was a night to remember—one that marks a chapter in TWICE’s story.

Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, Tzuyu, Momo, Mina, and Chaeyoung sang and danced the night away. With a 360-degree stage and multiple platforms, every section of the venue felt included, allowing even sections 400s and suites to witness the performers’ lighthearted banter.

Beginning with their iconic track “This is For,” OT8 hyped up the crowd with energy in act one. The venue was filled with screams of joy as the group sang catchy songs, “Strategy,” and “I Can’t Stop Me.” It was as if everyone understood the assignment: to sing along and wave their phones or light sticks. Jihyo excitedly led the crowd into a chorus of their fan chants, going one section at a time. Her voice echoed in the arena as ONCEs shouted back in unity. As the entire group strutted confidently across the A, B, C, and main stage during Act One, they made sure every corner of the arena felt the energy.

During act two, the members sang familiar tracks like “The Feels” and “Cry For Me” from their past albums. As the stage went dark, each member went backstage to be prepared for their shortened solo performances.

One of the biggest highlights of D.C. night one came when the backtrack for “Takedown” from the K-pop Demon Hunters soundtrack played, instantly igniting the crowd. Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung belted out the fan-favorite track as the audience sang along, even families with young children joining in. With flawless choreography reminiscent of Rumi, Mira and Zoey’s performance in the film, the group closed Act Three on a high-energy note with the final couple of songs. In addition to their two-hour performance, they had two encores. Ending the night with “Alcohol-Free” and “Feel Special" to make their fans’ night feel even more special.

Despite missing a member and having to re-choreograph the show, TWICE’s success is only going up from here. After celebrating their 10th anniversary last year with their album, TEN: The Story Goes On, the girls continue to surprise ONCEs. Their back-to-back concerts at Capital One Arena were only proof that their story goes on.
