TRADING HIS UPBEAT DREAMPOP SOUNDSCAPE FOR AN EMOTIVE ROLLERCOASTER OF A TRACK - Jak Bannon returns with his second single “The Story”. A collaborative track with Mr. Carmack, “The Story” sure knows how to pluck the heartstrings. Following up his debut track “The Trade”, which quickly found success and placements among playlists like Spotify’s New Music Friday and Fresh Finds, “The Story” showcases a whole new side of Bannon.

Shifting from the dreamy and danceable elements of his previous track “The Trade”, “The Story” mixes an emotive vocal flow with a sweet, and perfectly soft instrumental end. “The Story” highlights Bannon’s ability the create a more laid back, moving ambiance. Just under three minutes, the track takes the listener on an emotional journey with each longing note. Paired with a black and white visualizer, the video perfectly encompasses the somber tone of the track.

Despite “The Story” serving has Bannon’s second single, Bannon is no stranger to the music and creative world. Creating a foundation on the visual side of his creative interests, Bannon has found himself working alongside musical artists Diddy and Dr. Dre as well as friends Gibson Hazard and Aidan Cullen. 

Pursuing his true passion of music, Bannon’s music has already been met with positive perception, paving the path for more. The artist is able to authentically combine his two main passions by releasing music and creating the visuals to accompany as well, ensuring his true vision is brought to life. 

Bannon has kept up a quick pace in the creative world, with his budding musical career being no different. As Bannon continues to push his boundaries and his role in the entertainment industry, he’s sure to keep capturing the attention of many ears and eyes.
