IT’S NEARLY SUMMER, WHICH MEANS THAT MUSIC FESTIVAL SEASON IS ABOUT TO BE IN FULL SWING. In Canada, music lovers can look forward to the 19th edition of the OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival. This year’s festival, presented by Bell in collaboration with Coors Light, takes place a little over three months from now, from July 31st through August 2nd. Montréal is set to welcome over 100,000 fans to its Parc Jean-Drapeau for three days of incredible performances by artists from all around the world. Situated on Île Sainte-Hélènein in the St. Lawrence River, it is easily accessible via the city’s metro and offers panoramic views of the Montréal skyline.
The festival has revealed its full lineup, which includes over 80 artists. Headlining this year’s festival will be Twenty One Pilots, Tate McRae and Lorde. Notable subheadliners will include performances by The XX, Geese, Sombr, Turnstile, Gunna, Zara Larsson and many more. For many of these artists, it will be their debut at the festival or their long-awaited return after many years, including Twenty One Pilots, who last performed at OSHEAGA back in 2015, and Lorde in 2017. This will mark Tate McRae’s first appearance at the festival and her only Canadian festival appearance in 2026.
This year’s undercard is also packed with talent and cannot be overlooked. There are 26 Canadian artists on the lineup, including 14 artists right from Québec. On Friday, names like Wet Leg, Wolf Alice, Amber Mark and Canadian artists Vandelux and Moses Belanger will be taking the stage. Saturday will see Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard’s musical project, Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand, Stella Lefty, and Ecca Vandal. Sunday, Canada’s own Mother Mother is high up on the undercard alongside Icelandic folk group Of Monsters and Men, Paris Paloma, Oklou and Sofia Isella. Sunday will also bring Toronto-based band Valley and a DJ set by drag queen Trixie Mattel, so there is truly something for everyone.
OSHEAGA is also more than just a music festival. Curated food and drink, games, activations and art installations are just a few of the other things you’ll be able to see at the festival. There’s even a ferris wheel that fans can ride for an aerial view of the festival and the city. While the artists for this year’s installations haven’t been announced yet, the festival typically invites up-and-coming artists to help set up on-site murals and other visual arts. The “Music On Paper” exhibit is particularly cool, as it features posters for the festival commissioned by the performing bands and is created by a variety of visual artists.
We can’t wait to take you along and see what else this year’s OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival has in store, and it’s not too late to get tickets to this year’s festival either. 3-Day General Admission tickets are still available starting at $430CAD, with single-day tickets starting at $180CAD. VIP and Platinum ticket offerings are also available for those looking for an elevated experience, private viewing areas, and upgraded concessions. Tickets can be purchased here.
