LOS ANGELES CERTAINLY HAS NO SHORTAGE OF GREAT LIVE MUSIC VENUES, but the city’s nightlife landscape is about to undergo a radical transformation. Framework, the powerhouse promoters behind some of Southern California's most iconic electronic music moments, has officially unveiled their latest concept: re:frame.

Taking over a state-of-the-art soundstage in the scenic, trendy neighborhood of Atwater Village, re:frame is reimagining the warehouse experience. Starting January 16, 2026, Framework will turn a "blank canvas" into a high-production sanctuary for house and techno enthusiasts.

Framework is no stranger to unconventional spaces. From the historic Sears Building to the middle of Hollywood Boulevard, they have built a reputation for turning the "impossible" into a dance floor. With re:frame, they are moving indoors to leverage the controlled environment of a professional film studio.

“Re:frame is a beautiful blank canvas. This sound stage is perfect to handle large scale productions to create an incredible audio and visual experience.” — Kobi Danan, Framework Co-Founder

By utilizing a soundstage, Framework can move away from traditional club layouts. The focus shifts from a singular stage to an immersive, 360-degree environment featuring custom-built audio and visual production, climate control, and ample parking - luxuries rarely found in the underground scene.

The re:frame series kicks off with a heavy-hitting lineup that spans the spectrum of underground sounds, from melodic techno to soulful house.

The move to Atwater Village is a significant nod to the city’s shifting cultural map. While Hollywood and Downtown have traditionally held the crown for nightlife, the expansion into Atwater offers a fresh, "hippest-neighborhood" vibe that aligns with Framework’s mission to provide novelty experiences. Following the massive success of their 2024 shows at Red Studios with Duke Dumont and Rampa, re:frame is the evolved realization of the "soundstage-to-nightclub" pipeline. It provides the grit of a warehouse rave with the polished production value of a world-class festival.

For a city that never stops moving, re:frame offers a moment to pause, look at a blank canvas, and see what the future of Los Angeles nightlife actually looks like.
