A STACKED LINEUP CAME TO NEW YORK CITY THIS PAST TUESDAY at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. Wallice, Fake Dad, and Torture and the Desert Spiders entertained fans with nearly three hours of great music.
The night kicked off with a set from NYC-based garage rock band Torture and the Desert Spiders, led by powerful vocalist Anna Kunz. They were followed by an equally fun set by indie rockers Fake Dad. Frontwoman Andrea de Varona had some of the most energy I had ever seen from a performer, jumping into the crowd to sing with the audience multiple times throughout the set. Both groups were the perfect warmup for fans waiting eagerly to see Wallice.
When it was time for Wallice to take the stage, she came out with her hot pink hair and lots of smiles and energy. The singer described this tour as a type of “in between” for her as she works on new music, preparing to release a new album sometime in the near future. Her setlist included two of these new songs: “right light” and “worst case scenario” along with some of her bigger hits like “I Want You Yesterday” and “Loser at Best.” There are just a few more shows left on the tour, so grab tickets if you can!
