GRAMMY-NOMINATED VOCALIST HAYLA touches down at The Regency Ballroom on Thursday, September 3, 2026, bringing her North American "The Dark Tour" to the Bay Area, as part of a run that also includes stops in Sacramento and Los Angeles. For a singer whose voice has powered some of the biggest dance records of the last four years, this show marks something of a turning point. The set leans less on the festival-ready anthems that made her a household name in EDM and more on the moodier, genre-blurring material from her new album, Dark.
Hailing from Formby, near Liverpool in the UK, HAYLA has quietly become one of the most in-demand vocalists and songwriters in global dance music. Over the past several years, her voice has appeared on records with an all-star list of collaborators: John Summit, Kygo, Sub Focus, Meduza, Wilkinson, Example, Ben Nicky, Illenium, Nelly Furtado, and Kx5, the duo project of deadmau5 and Kaskade.
That last credit is arguably her biggest moment to date. HAYLA co-wrote and sang lead vocals on "Escape," the breakout single from Kx5's Grammy-nominated album for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. The track reached a global audience in a big way when Kaskade, serving as the first-ever in-game DJ for a Super Bowl halftime broadcast in 2024, played it in front of more than 130 million viewers.
Her run with John Summit has been just as significant. "Where You Are" and "Shiver," her two collaborations with the producer, each hit #1 on US Dance Radio in back-to-back years (2022 and 2023), cementing her as one of the genre's most reliable vocal hooks. Add in her own solo cuts like "Fall Again," "Embers," and the more recent, stripped-down single "Heal," built around her alto vocals, piano, and strings, and it's easy to see why virtually no dance floor, festival stage, or radio mix has gone untouched by her voice in recent years.
HAYLA's last tour leaned hard into her EDM roots, with a setlist built around dance-floor staples like "In My Arms," "FADED," and "Shiver." The Dark Tour is being billed by her team as a reinvention. In March, she previewed the shift with an intimate performance at St. Pancras Church in London, playing new material ahead of the album's release. Dark draws from a wider, more unconventional palette than her club-ready singles: progressive metal, electronic textures, melancholy singer-songwriter influences, and atmospheric storytelling all factor in.
For Bay Area fans who've followed her rise through festival sets and DJ collaborations, the Regency Ballroom show is a chance to hear that new era performed live, in a room built for exactly the kind of vocal presence she's known for.
Tickets for the September 3 Regency Ballroom show are on sale now through Ticketmaster and other outlets tied to the venue. With a Bay Area date sandwiched between Sacramento (Sept. 2) and Los Angeles (Sept. 4), and given how quickly her shows have drawn buzz, it's worth locking in seats sooner rather than later.
The full North American leg of The Dark Tour kicked off August 6 in Chicago and winds through Toronto, Brooklyn, Denver, Salt Lake City, Washington D.C., and more before wrapping at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. HAYLA is also slated to appear at EDC Orlando in November.
