FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND FOOTBALL FANS FILLED THE VENUE, CREATING AN ATMOSPHERE THAT BROUGHT TOGETHER VERY DIFFERENT AUDIENCES FOR ONE SHARED MOMENT—As the sun began to set over Parque Fundidora, it became clear that the FIFA Fan Festival in Monterrey was more than just a celebration of football; it had become a celebration of music over generations. It almost felt like the daughters went to see Santos Bravos, and their mothers went to see Enrique Iglesias. By the end of the night, everyone became a fan of both.

Before taking the stage, Santos Bravos reflected on a relationship with Monterrey during a press conference earlier that day. The HYBE Mexico City-based Latin group spoke about how meaningful the city has become in their career, recalling that Monterrey was where they performed their first show in the country. Since then, they explained, the city has witnessed their growth as artists, making every return feel especially significant.

Although their set was brief, Santos Bravos made every moment count; the five-piece group delivered three of their most recognizable tracks,“MHM,” “KAWASAKI” and “VELOCIDADE,” giving fans exactly what they asked for. Their performance showcased a polished stage presence that has become synonymous with the group. Every dance break was executed perfectly, every song transition felt effortless and their onstage chemistry was undeniable.

The audience’s enthusiasm nearly drowned out the music itself. Fans screamed every lyric at the top of their lungs, making it difficult to hear the group singing. It was the kind of reception every artist dreams of, proving just how quickly Santos Bravos have built a passionate fanbase in Mexico.

Later in the evening, Enrique Iglesias took the stage, drawing an impressive crowd of 113,000 people, transforming Parque Fundidora into a massive singalong. He delivered hit after hit, reminding everyone why he is one of Latin music’s most enduring performers. His effortless connection with the crowd turned the concert into something intimate and monumental. Whether longtime fans had followed his career for decades or younger attendees experienced him live for the first time, everyone shared the same energy as his music echoed throughout the venue.

Later in the evening, Enrique Iglesias welcomed Santos Bravos back on his stage to join him for his global hit, “I Like It.” The unexpected collaboration became one of the night’s most defining moments, bridging generations of Latin pop fans and creating a crossover between one of the genre’s biggest stars and one of the fastest rising groups.

FIFA Fan Festival has consistently shown that football and music are a winning combination, but this night stood out as one of its biggest celebrations yet. Santos Bravos showed us that the future of Latin music is in good hands, while Enrique Iglesias reminded everyone why he continues to define it. Together, they created a day that united generations, proving that great music, like the world’s biggest sport, has the power to bring everyone together.
